How does BYOK work with Velora?
Paste your Anthropic Console, OpenAI Platform or OpenRouter API keys into Velora's encrypted vault. By Claude Code we mean usage via an API key created in Anthropic Console, billed pay-as-you-go — not the Claude Pro subscription. Velora optimizes the payload in memory and forwards the trimmed prompt using your key.
Does Velora remove OpenRouter top-up fees?
No. With an OpenRouter key you keep paying OpenRouter's terms, including credit purchase fees (5.5% by card with a $0.80 minimum, or 5% via USDC). Velora reduces the billed tokens by trimming the traffic that flows through it.
When does a direct key beat OpenRouter?
